VALPARAISO - SANTIAGO CHILE
The sailing is over we arrived at Valparaiso today. We were up early and off the ship about 8:30 as it was a 2hr drive to Santiago, we decided to take one of the tours that would drop us off at the hotel. It was mainly a bus ride with a couple of stops for lunch and a winery tour. They did give us a short tour through the city of Santiago. Lots of buildings to see with great history behind them. Tomorrow we hope to take a cab or tour bus to get a better look at the city. Will try to take and post some pictures.

Glad to hear you are back on shore. I hope you have clear skies in Santiago so you can see the mountains. I found them awesome although I only saw them early in the morning before pollution took over. I hope you won't have flight problems coming home - cancelled flight all across Canada with more snow Xmas eve. We have had so much snow here - will definately have a white Xmas this year.
